Various sunrise and sunset shots I took over the years. More to follow as I continue scanning through several thousand more slides.
The "79" shots are all off of the California coast. All were taken underway on the USS Turner Joy as we ran up and down the coast building up to a 1980 Western Pacific deployment.

1981 saw the USS Turner Joy sitting inport in San Diego building up to a 1982 Western Pacific deployment. We got up and down the California coast a bit and as you can see you cal always get a good sunset over the Coronado Bay Bridge even sitting inport,
