San Francisco, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge
We had a short 48 hours in the San Francisco area. In that short of time we saw Muir Woods, walked Fisherman's Wharf and across the Golden Gate Bridge, toured Alcatraz Island, took two bay cruises, one carriage ride and did it all without rushing. Tim had purchased all the tickets online a month ago so we didn't wait in any lines.

We walked across the bridge early Sunday morning. It was fogged in on the Frisco side yet blue sky on the Sausalito side. Kids really enjoyed this walk, a welcome relief from Texas and southern California heat and humidity.
